Never forget: People love to talk about THEIR problems and challenges as well as THEIR interests and achievements.
It is easy (and I have done it many times) to fall into the rut of talking about yourself and trying to prove why you are the best person to work with.
Don’t.
Let the client do at least 70% of the talking and practice empathetic listening.
Relationship building often takes the longest time, often 8-12 touch points, before the clients feel comfortable to start working with you.
When the time is right, offer the enrollment session…
A free conversation, strategy session or similar that has a powerful results-oriented name will attract them to you and they will want to speak with you.
If they seem like a suitable prospect, answer one message with a personalized video (use a free https://www.loom.com/ account), or try audio messages.
Initiate a friendly conversation and at some point (after 2-5 messages) offer them a free named session of 30 min to meet and to learn more about each other
